Thanks to you, we are able to care for thousands of animals each year –meeting their individual needs and providing crucial resources to pet parents through innovative programs and services, including our Community Spay/Neuter Clinic, Pet Food Program, Pet Health Center and Adoption Services.
We can’t thank you enough for your support in helping animals and people. Your kindness is creating a community that keeps every animal safe, and that improves the lives of animals in need and the people who care about them.
Together, we are building a more humane community for all.

• Granted more than $59 million to 253 new scientific investigations in aggressive pursuit of our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia®.
• Led advocacy efforts to achieve a $300 million increase in federal Alzheimer’s and dementia research funding.
Thank you again for joining us in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

Thank you! Golden Retriever Rescue, Education and Training GRREATly appreciates your generosity. Your CFC donation will enable us to continue to rescue and rehome Goldens and Golden mixes. For GRREAT it has always been about the dogs. We never turn away a dog due to his/her medical issues or age. Dunkin is a 9-month-old who, while in his foster home, ate 11 Christmas ornament hooks! During emergency surgery, the vet found one was located high in Dunkin's intestine, creating a small perforation that required that they flush out his abdomen and insert a drain. The vet was able to remove 8 hooks. Thankfully, the others passed on their own! Dunkin is now fully recovered and safely in his forever home. All dogs we rescue are spayed/neutered, updated on vaccines, tested for heartworms/intestinal parasites, and started on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Dedicated Federal employees like you make our work possible.
Wishing you Golden days ahead!
Barbara Bertsch Boyd, President, GRREAT
Thank you for your generous contribution to the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center, which will help mobilize hundreds of volunteer attorneys to provide legal information, advice, or representation to more than 20,000 individuals, nonprofits, and small businesses. We help families facing eviction; parents seeking custody of their children; disabled, elderly and otherwise vulnerable residents seeking public benefits; and small business owners and safety-net nonprofits working in struggling neighborhoods. Your contribution will provide opportunities for volunteer attorneys to meet the urgent need for legal assistance that our low-income neighbors face every day.
Thank you for your commitment to fairness and to a legal system that lives up to the promise of equal justice for all people.
With gratitude,
Kelli Neptune

The mission of the Institute for Applied Ecology is to conserve native species and habitats through restoration, research and education. Our vision is a world where all people and wildlands are healthy and interact positively, biological diversity flourishes, and environmental challenges are met with a social commitment to solving problems with scientific principles. We provide a service to public and private agencies and individuals by developing and communicating information on ecosystems, species, and effective management strategies. We know that people enrich our organization and accomplish our mission, and we are passionate about inclusivity in ecology across identity and experience. Just as biological diversity makes ecosystems resilient, human diversity gives us power, creativity, and adaptability. We thank you for supporting and joining our work with your donation, and we welcome volunteers. Visit appliedeco.org or email [email protected]. Thank you for making a difference!
